- June 18th, 1987: Clint Barton naît de l'union entre Edith et Harold Barton.
- November, 1993: Après avoir été frappé par son père, il perd l'ouïe à l'âge de six ans._
- October, 1995: Les parents meurent dans un accident de voiture, les deux enfants sont orphelins, Clint est âgé de 8 ans.
- 2000 : Clint et son frère quittent l'orphelinat, et rejoignent la troupe du cirque ambulant de Tiboldt lorsqu'il a 13 ans, il s'y entraîne en tant qu'acrobate et archer.
- 2005 : Lorsqu'il a 18 ans, Clint quitte le cirque et retourne à l’école pour pouvoir trouver un emploi. Il est repéré par Nick Fury, et rejoint le SHIELD.
- 2007 : Il rencontre Bobbi Morse à l'âge de 20 ans, lors d'une mission pour l'organisation gouvernementale.
- 2008 : leur couple prend forme.
- 2010 : à 23 ans, ils se marient le 17 septembre._
- 2012 : attaque de New York par Loki et les chitauris : création des avengers, Bobbi subi une fausse couche.
